Our Next Event

Workshop: Sgraffito Art Workshop led by Suzanne Williams - Oriental Museum, Durham - Saturday 10th January 2026, 2:00-3:45pm

Join us for a creative workshop with artist Suzanne Williams. Explore the technique of Scraffito. Sgraffito is an artistic method that involves scratching through a top layer of colour to reveal an underlying layer. The word comes from the Italian "graffiare," meaning "to scratch," In this session, Suzanne will give all participants the opportunity to create several Sgrafitto compositions, using oil pastels and acrylic paints on board.
Tickets can be booked through Eventbrite.
